I am so impressed with how writing and posting images on my blog is reaching people. I posted earlier today the very first images of "Three Swans "and "Out Buildings". I have only posted these images on my blog and I have already been contacted by people interested in purchasing these paintings. Wow! Thank you! It gives great encouragement when one receives such positive feedback. I have been going around with a big smile on my face.
Erin Snow dropped in and picked up 2 giclee watercolour landscape prints on canvas 24 x 36 and giclee notecards for a gift bag/s for the Heirloom Show at Vermeers in Welland the second weekend in June. She was kind enough to pick up 100 postcards with a 10% coupon from my studio that will go into the 100 gift bags to be given out to the first 100 customers at the Heirloom show. This saved me a trip into Niagara Falls.
This is the first time I have tried using a coupon to help advertise my work, it will be interesting to see what business this generates.
* Giclee's (fr. term) are archival prints produced with archival inks achieving the closest image to the original in colour and value and printed on archival paper/canvas.
