Churchill prefers boxer's.
He's boxed and delivered to the Canada Post Office in Welland from where he will be shipped out today heading on his journey to Churchill. It would be fabulous if he could video tape & describe the journey from the front seat of the truck&/ or the plane.
Brief: This is the very short version of a much longer tale. Know the size of thy Boxer's after copious phone calls to various expediters last week to ascertain best travel prices and conditions for Churchill. Grace decided he should travel Express Canada Post. I made an assumption as to the size of box and Churchill's approximate weight including all the warm blankets he'd need to go to the far north.Well their was more emphasis on the ass( as in Jack) than in the umption. This ended up costing an additional $20 + in Churchill's ticket north. Although he weighed 5 lbs less than anticipated his box was approx.16 sq. inches larger than anticipated. Oh my!
I cannot wait till Grace see's Churchill for the first time. I hope it is love at first sight! Then I'll introduce him to all of you.
A very exciting week in the Haftar Studio's. Churchill is off to a new home and My reception at the Rosberg Gallery on Saturday afternoon.
