IRONING OUT THE WRINKLES

Meeting with Todd and Jim went very well today. We have ironed out some glitches and the new layout will actually allow me to add 3 - 4 more artists. I'll be looking to pick up some artists at Artistry by the Lake on the long weekend. This is a very exciting and unexpected new development!

Jim and I returned to the library for drawing class and a friend, fellow art instructor dropped in for a chat. She made reference to the Art on Water and what a poor performance it was. I mentioned the article in the local paper and the glowing report written by the reporter. She was shocked that such an inaccurate picture was painted.

On a cheerier note, I went to see the Rose Festival art show at the Seaway Mall. It was good to see  many amateurs & students had submitted their work. It was intermingled with professional artists. Difficult for amateurs and students to compete for "Publics Favourite". The show was hung well and looked interesting,. It was easy to view the work. Winners are to be announced tonight. Stay Tuned.
